The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-A5XX or 489XSAHXA5XX, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec gearboxes. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening and eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and is rated for shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Output is via a 1-1/4" round keyed shaft.
