The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSAHX-P6XR or 489XSAHXP6XR, is a wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for 8-bolt manual transmission openings. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission without an adapter plate, eliminating an extra leak path. Internal components are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, and the unit uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
