The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489XWAHX-A5RB or 489XWAHXA5RB is an 8-bolt PTO designed for most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series uses tapered bearings instead of needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability. Shift type for this series is wire/cable mechanical.
