The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46-55 HP output. Wire/cable mechanical shift and a 1-1/4" round keyed output shaft are series characteristics.
