The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off 489ZRDAX-A3RB or 489ZRDAXA3RB is an 8-bolt PTO unit built for most manual transmissions, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Shift type for the 489 Series is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with keyway. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and is rated for output power of 46-55 HP. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
