The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off, part number 890JEFJW-B3XY or 890JEFJWB3XY, is a hydraulic hot-shift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. The 890 Series relocates the pump mounting flange to the rear of the transmission, giving the output shaft better clearance between the transmission and the frame rail. Unlike PTO-plus-extension designs, the main shaft is a single one-piece unit that eliminates the input splines between the PTO body and the output extension. The SAE C output uses Wet Spline Technology to extend pump shaft life in demanding duty cycles. Shift is via hydraulic PowerShift control. The unit mounts on a 10-bolt pattern and is supported by an additional bracket at the rear of the transmission. Continuous-duty torque rating reaches 670 lb-ft, with intermittent torque rated at 501+ lb-ft. Shaft power output is 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
