It uses a 10-bolt mounting and an SAE C output flange, and the clutch is positioned at the rear of the PTO so the housing and gear section tuck close to the transmission, moving the pump mounting flange rearward for improved clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The main shaft is a single one-piece unit, eliminating the intermediate input splines found on extension-style designs. Wet-spline output technology extends pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque rating for the 890 Series reaches 670 ft-lb, with intermittent torque rated at 501+ ft-lb.
