The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off, part number 890PAFJW-B5XS or 890PAFJWB5XS, is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and positions the pump output to the rear of the transmission, improving clearance between the pump and frame rail without requiring a separate extension. The one-piece main shaft eliminates the inter-unit input splines found on conventional PTO-plus-extension setups. An SAE C output flange and SAE C (XS) output shaft handle continuous torque up to 670 lb-ft, with shaft power rated at 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Wet-spline lubrication is built in to extend pump spline life under demanding duty cycles. Common applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue, refuse, and truck crane work.
