The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off, part number 890RCFJW-B5XY or 890RCFJWB5XY, is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and features a SAE C ("XS") output shaft with wet-spline lubrication to extend pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension, and the clutch is positioned at the rear of the housing to tuck tightly against the transmission for improved frame-rail clearance. Continuous torque is rated up to 670 lb-ft. Shaft power output reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. Common applications include aerial trucks, fire and rescue, refuse trucks, and truck cranes. Call us to confirm proper fit for your transmission configuration.

Additional Information
The Chelsea 890 Series is a single-unit PTO, not a PTO with a bolt-on extension. The main shaft is one piece, which removes the input splines that would otherwise exist between the PTO body and an output extension. The clutch mounts at the rear of the PTO housing, allowing the gear section to sit close against the transmission and improve clearance between the unit and the truck frame rail. The pump output is located to the rear of the transmission, providing adequate space in tight installations. An additional bracket at the rear of the transmission provides supplemental support. Typical applications include aerial lift trucks, fire and rescue pumpers, refuse trucks, truck cranes, and snow and ice equipment. The 890 Series accommodates transmissions equipped with or without a cooler or retarder, or both.Parts Manual: Chelsea 890 Series PTO Parts Manual (PDF) — exploded views, item numbers and the full parts breakdown for this series.
