The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off, part number 890UAFJW-B5XY or 890UAFJWB5XY, is a hydraulic PowerShift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses an SAE C ("XS") output flange with wet-spline technology to reduce wear on the PTO and pump shaft under continuous demanding use. Continuous-duty torque is rated up to 670 ft-lb, with intermittent torque exceeding 501 ft-lb. Shaft power output reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension, and the clutch is positioned at the rear of the unit to tuck the housing tightly against the transmission for improved pump clearance.
