The Chelsea 221 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 221XCAJP-P3XK or 221XCAJPP3XK, is a 6-bolt mounted PTO designed for low-speed, heavy-duty applications including dump trucks, tow and recovery, and aerial equipment. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and other manufacturers. The wire/cable mechanical shift delivers output power in the 46-55 HP range, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway transfers drive to hydraulic pumps or driveline accessories. A cast iron housing and tapered cone output bearings handle high intermittent torque up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm). Greaseable pump shafts reduce spline fretting and corrosion over the service life.
