The Chelsea 221 Series Power Take-Off, part number 221XCDAX-A5XD or 221XCDAXA5XD, is a 6-bolt, wire/cable mechanical-shift PTO built for low-speed, heavy-duty applications such as dump trucks, tow and recovery, and aerial equipment. Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with key, rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM, with an intermittent torque rating up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) - check application pages for actual torque ratings for your installation. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Hino, and other transmission brands. The cast iron housing is available in standard or low-profile configurations, and the greaseable pump shaft design limits spline fretting and corrosion over the long haul.
