The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272ABKUP-D5RY or 272ABKUPD5RY, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty work trucks across towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck applications. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and uses a pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift mechanism with an integral air control valve. The 272 Series supports continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
