The 272 Series consolidates and supersedes the earlier Chelsea 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single medium-duty hot-shift platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft life. Driveshaft outputs include the Smart-Start option for high-torque startup conditions. The integral air control valve ships with the unit.
