The Chelsea 272GAHVP-B5XD or 272GAHVPB5XD is a 272 Series hot shift 6-bolt power take-off assembly designed for medium-duty applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck service. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea PTO lines into a single platform, offering nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. This unit features a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. Continuous torque capability within the 272 Series reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW).
