The Chelsea 272 Series power take-off assembly, part number 272GCHVP-K5RK or 272GCHVPK5RK, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty vocational applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck service. The 272 Series handles up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque and is available with hydraulic or pneumatic (air) shift. It consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into one flexible platform, offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. An integral air control valve is included.
