The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272KGJKX-A5XR or 272KGJKXA5XR, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty applications in aerial, construction, water truck, and towing and recovery service. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot-shift PTOs. The series offers 9 speed ratios and 18 shift options, making it one of the most flexible 6-bolt PTOs in its class. Rotatable flanges allow for flexible installation geometry. The Smart-Start option is available for high-torque start-up conditions common in towing, recovery, and aerial applications. An optional Wet-Spline design extends PTO and pump shaft service life on direct-mount configurations.
