The Chelsea 272 Series PTO assembly, part number 272KKJKX-A3BD or 272KKJKXA3BD, is a 6-bolt hot shift power take-off built for medium-duty applications. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft of intermittent torque and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift. This series consolidates earlier Chelsea PTO lines including the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 into a single platform, offering nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Direct-mount configurations include an optional wet-spline output for extended pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output versions can include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque engagement conditions.
