The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272LSFNX-A3XD or 272LSFNXA3XD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty applications including towing and recovery, aerial work, construction equipment, and water trucks. It carries a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output is through a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. The 272 Series supports both pneumatic (air) and hydraulic PowerShift engagement and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others.
