The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272MKAJP-A5XD or 272MKAJPA5XD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO designed for medium-duty truck applications in towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck service. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift actuation is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The 272 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft continuous torque and up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque (201-300 lb-ft range), with 56+ HP output capability.
