The Chelsea 272NAAJP-B5RK or 272NAAJPB5RK is a 272 Series 6-bolt hot shift power take-off assembly designed for medium-duty applications in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck equipment. Part of Chelsea's reinvented 272 Series, this PTO supports intermittent torque ratings of 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm) with shift options in either pneumatic (air) or hydraulic. The 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single platform featuring nine speed ratios and eighteen shift configurations. An integral air control valve is included, and the series supports rotatable flanges plus the Smart Start option for high-torque start-up conditions.
