The Chelsea 272NAHVP-13RY or 272NAHVP13RY is a 272 Series hot-shift power take-off assembly built for medium-duty applications including aerial, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and shifts pneumatically or hydraulically through an integral air control valve, so no external valve is required. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Output power runs 56+ HP (41-50 kW). The 272 Series consolidates multiple prior Chelsea PTO families into one versatile platform with rotatable flanges, a wet-spline option, and Smart Start for high-torque startup conditions.
