The Chelsea 272NAHVP-G5XD or 272NAHVPG5XD is a 272 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly. It mounts via a 6-bolt pattern and shifts pneumatically or hydraulically using an integral air control valve. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) for this series, with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power runs 56+ HP (41-50 kW), with shaft power measured at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
