The Chelsea 272NBHVP-G5XD or 272NBHVPG5XD is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off with 6-bolt mounting. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit includes an integral air control valve. Continuous torque capacity reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Output power exceeds 56 HP (41-50 kW). The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into one platform with nine speed ratios and 18 shift options, and is suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications.
