The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XBAJP-B3RF or 272XBAJPB3RF, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO built for medium-duty applications including aerial work, construction equipment, water trucks, and towing and recovery. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401 to 500 Nm) and is available with pneumatic or hydraulic shift. This series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series into a single platform offering nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. An integral air control valve is included. Rotatable flanges and the optional Wet-Spline output extend pump and PTO shaft service life.
