The Chelsea 272 Series power take-off assembly, part number 272XCAJX-A5XV or 272XCAJXA5XV, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO rated for up to 300 lb-ft intermittent torque. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines into one platform, offering 9 speed ratios and 18 shift options with either hydraulic or pneumatic air shift. An integral air control valve is included. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended pump shaft life; driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start option for high-torque engagement conditions.
