The Chelsea 272XCAJX-A3RB or 272XCAJXA3RB is a 272 Series Hot Shift Power Take-Off Assembly built on a 6-bolt mount with a 1-1/4" round output shaft keyed with a 5/16" key. It uses pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and is rated for intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with continuous torque capability up to 300 lb-ft (verify against application-specific torque charts). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 medium-duty PTO lines into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios, eighteen shift options, and a choice of direct-mount or driveshaft outputs. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output variants include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. The integral air control valve is included.
