The Chelsea 272XCAJX-V3RK or 272XCAJXV3RK is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off assembly with a 6-bolt mounting pattern. It uses a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 272 Series consolidates several earlier Chelsea medium-duty PTO lines and is rated for up to 300 lb-ft continuous torque. Intermittent torque rating falls in the 201-300 lb-ft range. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates and replaces the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot shift PTOs into a single flexible platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges allow flexible installation positioning.
