The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XKAJP-P3RK or 272XKAJPP3RK, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty vocational applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM platforms. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift actuation is pneumatic (PowerShift). Continuous torque capability for the 272 Series reaches 300 lb-ft; intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft. Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 272 Series consolidates earlier Chelsea medium-duty hot-shift lines into a single, flexible platform suited for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck work.
