The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XKAJX-A3BD or 272XKAJXA3BD, is a 6-bolt hot shift PTO designed for medium-duty commercial truck applications. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. Continuous torque capacity reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
