The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates several earlier medium-duty Chelsea hot-shift PTO lines - the 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series - into a single, more versatile platform. The 272 Series offers nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount configurations are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque start-up conditions. The integral air control valve is included with air-shift models.
