The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XMDAX-P5BD or 272XMDAXP5BD, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty applications in towing and recovery, aerial, construction, and water truck service. It uses a pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) shift mechanism and mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM, among others. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key drive. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm).
