The Chelsea 272XSESX-V3BD or 272XSESXV3BD is a 6-bolt hot shift Power Take-Off Assembly from the Chelsea 272 Series. This medium-duty PTO delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque (401-500 Nm intermittently) and 56+ HP output, making it a capable choice for aerial, construction, towing and recovery, and water truck applications. The Chelsea 272 Series consolidates the earlier 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 Series medium-duty hot shift PTOs into a single platform. The series offers nine speed ratios, 18 shift options, and an integral air control valve. Direct-mount configurations include an optional Wet-Spline feature for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations are available with the Smart Start option, designed for high-torque start-up conditions. Rotatable flanges provide installation flexibility across a wide range of truck chassis.
