The Chelsea 272ZMAJX-P3RK or 272ZMAJXP3RK is a 272 Series hot shift power take-off assembly built on a 6-bolt mounting pattern. Output is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. The 272 Series supports intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings). At 1,000 RPM, shaft power reaches 57 HP. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM. The Chelsea 272 Series replaces and consolidates the older 230, 231, 236, 238, 270, and 271 series Chelsea PTOs into a single medium-duty platform. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift configurations. Direct-mount output options include an optional Wet-Spline design for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output configurations include the Smart-Start feature for high-torque engagement conditions. The rotatable flange design allows for flexible installation orientations.
