281GCFJP-B5XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GCFJP-B5XD or 281GCFJPB5XD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. It mounts directly to the 10-bolt aperture and offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, the clutch pack uses steel discs 80% thicker than the predecessor 280 Series, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational damage. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) and the optional Wet Spline lubrication provide additional protection for driven equipment and output shaft life.
