281GDFJP-K8RK Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GDFJP-K8RK or 281GDFJPK8RK, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly found on Allison transmissions. Evolved from the 280 Series, the 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration to improve clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel disks to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high-speed operation. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and a Positive Stop for driveline outputs eliminates oil seal damage from coupling. The Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life 7 to 10 times over standard configurations.
