The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GDFJY-H3RY or 281GDFJYH3RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. It mounts directly to the transmission and delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating across nine speed ratios covering both low and high speeds. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% thicker steel clutch pack to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference fit issues, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times. The hose is included.
