The Chelsea 281GGFJP-B5RZ or 281GGFJPB5RZ is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift Power Take-Off from the Chelsea 281 Series, designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture commonly found on Allison applications. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speeds. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce pump clearance interference, and the driveline output incorporates a positive stop to prevent oil seal damage.
