The Chelsea 281GGFJP-B8XV or 281GGFJPB8XV is a 281 Series hydraulic hot-shift Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. It engages under load without interrupting transmission operation and carries a single continuous duty torque rating. The 281 Series is an evolution of the popular 280 Series, adding a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in clutch pack steel disc thickness to resist premature wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce pump clearance conflicts. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
