281GGFJP-D3XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GGFJP-D3XV or 281GGFJPD3XV, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison applications. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 Series adds a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load and resist the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. The clutch pack features steel discs 80% thicker than the predecessor design, extending service life. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference fit concerns, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option delivers 7 to 10 times greater shaft life.
