The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off (part 281GGFJP-K5SD or 281GGFJPK5SD) is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. The 281 Series is the direct evolution of the widely used 280 Series, carrying several structural upgrades: a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an 80% increase in clutch-pack steel disc thickness to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed demands. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline configurations.
