The Chelsea 281 Series PTO Assembly, part number 281GGFJP-K5XV or 281GGFJPK5XV, is a hydraulically shifted PowerShift unit built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly Allison transmissions. It is rated for continuous-duty operation and carries a series continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft. The 281 Series features a ductile iron bearing cap that is 117% stronger than its gray iron predecessor, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and a clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous 280 Series design.
