The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 871XBFJP-K5XV or 871XBFJPK5XV, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series replaces the earlier 870 Series and brings a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, along with an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to resist vibration-induced clamp loss. Continuous-duty torque capacity reaches up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m), with nine available speed ratios and thirteen output configurations. The compact housing limits clearance conflicts during installation. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) make the 871 Series the only Chelsea PTO to combine all three of those demand features in one platform.
