281GGFJR-B3XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 281GGFJR-B3XD or 281GGFJRB3XD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. The 281 Series is the evolution of the 280 Series, with several structural and sealing upgrades built in. A ductile iron bearing cap delivers 117% greater strength versus gray iron. The o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibration. Steel discs in the clutch pack are 80% thicker than the previous generation, reducing premature wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high output requirements.
