281GKFJP-B3XV Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GKFJP-B3XV or 281GKFJPB3XV, is a hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, featuring a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with 80% thicker steel discs to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges. Wet Spline Lubrication is available for 7 to 10 times greater shaft life. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce pump clearance interference, and the SmartStart feature reduces shock load at start-up. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is included to protect driven equipment.
