The Chelsea 281GMFJP-G5RK or 281GMFJPG5RK is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift Power Take-Off designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly found on Allison transmissions. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the vibrational effects of modern engine designs. Steel discs within the clutch pack are 80% thicker than the predecessor 280 Series, helping resist premature tooth wear.
