281GMFJP-G8RF Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 281GMFJP-G8RF or 281GMFJPG8RF, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 introduces a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and steel clutch discs that are 80% thicker to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios span low and high ranges. The rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference issues at pump mounting.
