The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GMFJP-K5RY or 281GMFJPK5RY, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. This series evolved directly from the top-selling 280 Series with several structural upgrades: a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and an enhanced clutch pack with steel discs 80% thicker than the previous design. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed applications. Output options include SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flanges, and driveline configurations.
