281GMFJV-B5RK Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GMFJV-B5RK or 281GMFJVB5RK, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, commonly used on Allison transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, incorporating a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, and an 80% increase in clutch pack steel disc thickness to resist premature tooth wear. Nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges are available. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference fit issues with pump clearance, and a Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft service life by 7 to 10 times. The Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) feature protects driven equipment. Applications span fire and rescue, truck cranes, pumper cleaners, and refuse trucks.
