281GPFJP-B3SD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281GPFJP-B3SD or 281GPFJPB3SD is a 281 Series Power Take-Off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar units. This hydraulically shifted (PowerShift) PTO is rated for continuous operation and carries a single, continuous duty torque rating across nine available speed ratios spanning both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibrational stress from modern engine designs. The clutch pack uses steel discs that are 80% thicker than the prior generation to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
